The KTX2 mode S transponder is like all Dittel Avionik a highly efficient device. During the development the following parameters have been taken in account:

These parameters are the argument especially for gliders, ultralight aircraft and balloons, to be equipped with the KTX2. The current consumption of a Mode-S transponder is generally an indication which depends on numerous of parameters. In Mode S operation in busy airspace it can cause a high rate of queries per minute. In this case, the transponder will respond accordingly and frequently increasing the total energy consumption.

The TT21 is a two part transponder system, which includes an integrated altitude encoder. In design and technology the TT21 is identical to the TT22; the only difference is that the transmitted output power of the TT21 is lower, qualifying the unit as a Class 2 transponder. Class 2 transponders may be used on aircraft cruising slower than 175 knots, and operating below 15,000 feet, IFR or VFR.
The front panel controller is smaller than a standard instrument, and the remote transponder is not much bigger than a pack of cards. The TT21 can fit into the smallest of aircraft – and yet it is fully certified and compliant with all the transponder requirements.

TT31 – Class 1 - Mode S and 1090ES ADS-B Out transponder
Trig’s TT31 transponder is the ideal retro-fit for the popular KT76A, KT76C and KT78A transponders. The TT31 is a Class 1 transponder which will ‘plug and play’ straight into an existing KT76A, KT76C and KT78A tray. This significantly reduces both installation time and cost. It provides pilots with class leading Mode S technology that is also 1090ES ADS-B Out capable too.
Our latest upgrade includes TIS traffic enhancements and enables ADS-B Out to be configured using the existing tray. The TT31 is compatible with many popular GPS position sources including Garmin GNS and GTN navigators and the Trig TN70. This makes installation flexibility the best in class.
